Although it seemed a great idea to build the site using Wordpress, it is still a content management system (albeit a very simple one) and needed far more work than a static site! It has taking quite alot of work to get this finished!
On the plus side however we can just adapt the template and reuse for our final show :)
The finished site can be found at: http://www.uwemagraphicarts.com
I do feel I have a tendancy to make things more work than is actually required but I'm very happy with the result.

Inspiration: Wieden + Kennedy
http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2011/january/honda-jazz-this-unpredictable-life
I adore this magical animation by agency Wieden + Kennedy.
They've also considered how to interact with the user by creating an iPhone app where you can catch the characters as they come from the screen. Whilst I love the ad, I wasn't as impressed by the app, however I think it was an interesting way of involving the user in some 'play'.
They are also responsible for the genius that is the Cravendale, Cats with Thumbs advert:

Interactive videos
One of the things that really spoke to me during my previous module was how interactivity with the viewer really adds something to the experience. Involving the viewer in the art or design is something I'd like to accomplish within my work.
A great example of marketing that uses this concept is 'Hunter shoots a bear' - the viewer controls the actions of the hunter which evolves into a range of humorous outcomes. Please see http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=tippexperience for further info.
Much earlier than this was the internet sensation, 'Subservient Chicken' (see below)
